R & D Cross of Upper Marlboro held their third SPCA Adoption Drive on Saturday May 24. While the turn out was not as large as the previous two, due in part to it being a holiday weekend, it was a great success! Not only was the Prince George's SPCA on hand, but also the Greyhound Pets of America and representatives from PETS, Inc. (Progressive Equestrian Therapeutic Services) were here to visit and speak with interested customers. The first two SPCA drives resulted in multiple adoptions, and hopefully this one will do the same. It was the first time the Greyhound Pets had been here, but they were very pleased with response and interest they received.  PETS, Inc. was also pleased and appreciative with the attention that their wonderful program received. Look for all of them to be returning for our early fall drive! Visit us again soon for the date.  We would like to give thanks to these great organizations for allowing us to be part of their team .
